Where: Wheatland Rd., 8 mi. north of Salem. Take I-5 exit 263 toward Brooks/Gervais, 0.3 mi. Turn right at Brooklake Rd NE, 1.7 mi. Turn right at Wheatland Rd N, 2.4 mi. Turn left, 46 ft into Willamette Mission State Park
Description: Eight miles of trails run along the Willamette River, with an incredible amount of native birds, plants and wildlife. There are picnic shelters, electricity, restrooms, water faucets, picnic tables, fire rings, sunny areas and trees for shade, plus ample room for parking. For those that enjoy water, there's Mission Lake and the Willamette River. There are grassy meadows surrounded by an array of flowers, plants, and trees. The ride is rated moderate for those with disabilities.
