The 2008 Ride Schedule provides recreational rides for beginning or advanced riders suitable for handcycle. Rides will be up to four hours in length and the terrain may contain some hills. We will occasionally go outside the Portland metropolitan area and ride on low trafficked roads or Rails to Trails . We will take time to address your questions and learn from your experience. The rides will be tailored to your abilities. We will also participate in locally sponsored events and clinics and post their schedules as they become available
Who We Are:
Althea is a Civil Engineer.
Beverly is a teacher and one of our faithful assistants.
Barbara has been riding handcycle with her husband for about ten years.
Donna is an Occupational Therapist and has led many of our rides.
Ethan is a Server Administrator and our bike mechanic.
Hari is a Programmer and willing assistant.
Ian is Executive Director of Oregon Disability Sports.
Ken, and his dog Happy, come on many of our trail rides
Kevin is a dispatcher for the Forestry Dept. and a very experienced rider.
Levi, at seven years old is a long distance rider…nearly 30 miles!
Jeremy is an occupational therapy student and has an interest in racing and rugby. He is frequently accompanied by his Dad.
Martin is a Data Architect and rides for recreation
with an emphasis on touring.
Randi and Malcolm accompany Suzanne and are helpful assistants.
Saty is a Physician who rides about a thousand miles per year!
Suzanne is an Environmental Attorney with a great sense of humor!
Greg is a software engineer. He also skis!
Robbin is a circuit board inspector.
David (right) is a counselor.
