Where: Marine Drive at Broughton Park
Description: This path has a lot of scenic beauty situated right next to Portland's airport (PDX). From 33rd Drive, the path is on the city side of Marine Drive, passing by the very end of the PDX runway until it crosses over Marine Drive at Broughton Park. It then descends below the road level and is next to the Columbia River, where you get very nice views of river activity. Government Island then comes into view, you'll pass the Sea Scout Base, and the path ends at I-205. Check Riding Details for a map, driving directions and a complete description of the trail. Saturday rides are leisurely, two hours or less in length, and on easy terrain. We will take time to address your questions and learn from your experience. The rides will be tailored to your abilities. Saturday rides are in the Portland metropolitan area and on bike trails.
Title: FernHill Wetlands

Where: Forest Grove, OR
Description: FernHill Wetlands is 243 acres composed largely of wetland and moist soil habitats. We will pass by a buffalo ranch and Pacific University. This ride has some hills and is about 12 miles long. From Portland, travel west on U.S. 26 approximately twenty miles. Turn onto Oregon 47 at Banks and continue south through Forest Grove for a total of seven or eight miles and turn left onto Fern Hill Road. Continue approximately 400 yards to the Fernhill Wetlands parking area. Wheelchair-accessible unpaved trail. Sunday rides will be up to four hours in length and the terrain may contain some hills. We will frequently go outside the Portland metropolitan area and ride on low trafficked roads or Rails to Trails .
